“If the main part of Sunol (See 66) is too developed for your tastes, you’ll love the Welch Creek area.  You won’t find picnic areas, horse rentals, or a visitor center there; in fact, you won’t even find a parking lot”

This hike starts out looking rugged but turns out to be an easy walk with the same views found in Hike #66.  None of interest here except I came across a couple doing some heavy petting in the middle of trail.  Turns out it was just a tick hunt as they had found several between themselves and their dog.  In fact I found my very first tick myself at the end of the hike.

And, of course, if anyone can send me a low weight/low cost surface to air missile it would be greatly appreciated.  I figure if I just get one single engine plane, the rest will get the hint for a while.

These are low res pictures.  I can send you higher quality pictures if you want them
