Another fun drive with winding roads but no real scenery except for the massive trees along the road.

All in all it is a very easy hike that would be perfect on a scorching hot day as most of the trail is canopied with many different types of trees.  My only problem came at the very bottom where the map said turn right onto the road and follow the path alongside.  Well I found the road and turned right, but I couldn’t find the path.  I walked along the road trying to find the path for about 3/4 of a mile before a gave up and turned back.  What I failed to notice was the other road across the one I just walked along that was not shown on the map.  I don’t know if there is some top secret government organization on the end of that road, but there was a lot of Land Rover, Audi, BMW style traffic on it somehow driving through a locked gate at the road entrance.
