“60 Hikes within 60 miles: denver and boulder” by Kim Lipker

Red Rocks Park is a well-known venue for Colorado’s best outdoor concerts.  The natural rock that jettisons out of the hillside is flaming red and attracts music lovers in the summer and outdoor enthusiasts all year.  The Trading Post Trail offers an opportunity to pass through spectacular rock formations and catch a peek at the amphitheater.

Length: 1.46 miles

Difficulty: Easy

Hiking Time: 1.5 hour

5900 – 6300 feet

Chris: It was nice but Vegas’ Red Rock Canyon is better, same for Valley of Fire , or Arches National Park.
