I love going to Mt Charleston in the summer and it’s always at least 15 degrees colder than Las Vegas and a great break from the heat. I never made it to the caves as an avalanche wiped out any traces of the trail. I just bushwacked around and took some pictures. All the white is actually packed snow…less than hour from the 40 degree heat of Vegas!!!
