Plymouth Creek Trail and Plymouth Mountain Trail Loop

Posted by on June 10, 2019

The initial hill up to the up Plymouth Creek Trail to the Plymouth Mountain Trail is pretty steep and I was wheezing like an old man, but the views are spectacular. I would definitely do this trail again. The views on the trail are better than the overlook, so skip the overlook if you are tired.

I also saw the most wildlife on this trail including deer, a squirrel with amazing ear, a couple snakes, and a couple of lizards.

Here’s some info from Trails.com:

Meadowlark Plymouth Creek and Plymouth Mountain Trail Loop is a 6 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Littleton, Colorado that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Here are the stats for this trip:

I played with the Auto-pause feature of my Garmin on this hike and I’m not sure the entire the entire hike was recorded:

  • Distance: 6.09 miles
  • Time: 2:08:25 minutes
  • Avg Speed: 2.8 mph
  • Elevation Gain: 1,476 ft
